What is U-Turn for Christ Oregon?
A Christ-centered residential discipleship ministry for men seeking restoration from drug and alcohol addiction. Bible teaching, prayer, service, church fellowship, and accountability shape daily life.
How long is the program?
Phase 1 is at least two months. Phase 2 continues for six months or longer. Phase 3 continues Phase 2 growth through a school of ministry or a deeper walk with Christ. Contact admissions for its current length of participation and requirements.
Who can apply?
The program serves adult men. Call admissions to discuss your situation, readiness, eligibility, and current availability before making travel plans.
Do I need a church referral?
A church referral is not required. Call admissions directly to learn about the application process.
Do I have to be a Christian already?
You do not have to arrive as a Christian. Participants are expected to take part in Bible study, church fellowship, and the ministry’s Christ-centered activities.
What are the financial arrangements?
Contact admissions for the current suggested donation and other financial arrangements. Discuss your circumstances directly with the team before arrival.
What should I bring?
Ask for the current packing list. The ministry’s guidance includes a Bible, notebook and writing supplies, suitable work and church clothing, bedding, and laundry supplies. Confirm personal-item restrictions and medication arrangements with admissions.
Can my family visit or send mail?
Yes, within the ministry’s policies. Confirm visiting eligibility, dates and times, phone policies, and care-package contents with the team. Family information and the mailing address are on the Families page.
