Information you choose to share

Inquiry forms collect your name, email address, optional phone number, area of interest, and message. Construction estimate inquiries also collect project type, general location, scope, and preferred timing. Vehicle donation inquiries collect vehicle type, condition, general location, ownership questions, and requested arrangements. Thrift Store inquiries collect item descriptions, condition, donation arrangements, or volunteer interests and availability. Event inquiries collect your event interest, proposed volunteer role and availability, group or organization, or proposed sponsorship support. The information is stored for ministry follow-up and is available only through a restricted ministry inbox.

Please do not submit medical records, detailed addiction histories, Social Security numbers, payment information, or other sensitive documents through these forms. Admission questions should begin with a phone call.

Why we use it

We use your inquiry details to respond to the request you submitted and coordinate the help or partnership you asked about. The form requires your permission to contact you for that purpose.

Ministry and prayer updates

The newsletter signup collects your email address and an optional name. We save when and where you signed up, along with your permission to receive these updates: “I would like to receive ministry and prayer updates by email from U-Turn for Christ Oregon.”

The subscriber list is available only to the authorized ministry owner. The ministry may download it for use with its newsletter service. Inquiry forms and online gifts do not sign you up for the newsletter. Welcome messages and approved ministry updates are sent through Resend when a verified sender is connected. The email service receives the recipient address and message content to process delivery. Each update includes an unsubscribe link; we store your removal status to prevent further updates. Private ministry tools store email subject, message content, processing status, and provider references. Inquiry notifications tell the coordinator a request is waiting; inquiry details stay in the private inbox.

Abuse prevention

The inquiry and newsletter forms use a temporary, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. This is used for abuse prevention rather than advertising.

Online giving

The donation form sends your chosen amount and one-time or monthly giving choice to PayPal checkout. Monthly gifts are arranged and managed through PayPal after you confirm the billing agreement there. The ministry’s restricted records may include a donor name, email, gift amount, date, transaction reference, refund status, giving frequency, and campaign, along with verification notes. Monthly partnership records include status and the date the ministry last checked that status. Kevin Darr reviews these records against payment-provider or ministry records. This website does not collect or store card or bank details. Review the donation provider’s privacy information when making a gift.

Videos and external links

Ministry videos are embedded from YouTube. Watching them may involve YouTube’s services and privacy practices. External links, including PayPal and Facebook, are governed by the destination’s policies.
